Queens blade season 1, swords, tiny armors and alot of skin.

okay.
I just finished watching first season of queens blade, and I have to say that it didnt match my expectations.
I honestly tought that it was purely only fanservice.. but  it actually had story too.
Reina is princess who wants to become Queen so she can bring justice for her country (or something)
Shes attacked by swamp witch's minion Melona, a thief Risty saves Reina from Melona.
Risty is inprisoned, but she manages to break out from her prison and takes Reina with her on her quest to Queens Blade.

Few more characters are introduced too, but Reinas storyline is imo most interesting.

Good things about Queens Blade:

+ Action scenes are animated well, and they dont leave you cold.

+ Its not only fanservice, okay. clothing will be shred, but its not only that.
Characters have meaning, backstory and personality.

+ Menace. ancient Queen of eghypt.
Shes such a little kid :D she makes me smile with her annoying personality, but eventough her little girlish personality, she can be airheaded.

+ Risty, I like her! shes tomboyish and she does not want any help from others. but if shes been saved, she pays back.

meh things about Queens Blade:

- a little too much fanservice. its tiny, but still big part of the series.
fanservice is taken a little far in this series.
I can enjoy fanservice, but when fanservice is girls trying to massage honey on each other in questionable poses... argh.. its too much...

- Melonas breast bazooka, she shoots her milk and milk explodes... nuff said..

- Menace just cant fight!! Menace is best character in series imo. but she does not have any weapons...
she has stick called Setra.. but she cannot fight or defend herself with it! give her somekind of spear or sword please!

- Cattleya. Shes a blacksmith.. okay.. understandable.. but why does she have too big breast and too tiny costume!!

- Alleyne. She does not get screentime! shes interesting character! why doesnt she get any screentime?!

all in all, Queens Blade with its fanservice was enjoyable show, few characters were left with less screen time, wich was little dissapointing. and some characters were just ridicilous and out of place..

but I liked it, and I'll be looking foward to watch second season soon
