As I said it.
Clannad after story likes to put you in rollercoaster of emotions, and Im sure you'll be thankful after that!
I just watched it myself today. it took me almost a year to watch it, cause im pretty careful when watching anime or readin manga.
I once again try not to spoil anything.
But incase.. SPOILER ALERT!! if you havent watched Clannad yet, go and see it!
Clannad is a story of young boy Okazaki Tomoya, who meets girl named Nagisa.
Nagisa wants to start theatre club, but they dont have enough members.
After few characters came along they accomplished their goal and had one theatre show at school festival.
After that Nagisa fell ill, and Tomoya started to feel lonely.
Soon after Tomoya told Nagisa how he felt about her, and they started dating.
That concluded first season, but then came after story..
In after story, main characters are seniors, but Nagisa falls ill again.
Nagisa cannot graduate because she cannot go to school because of her illnes.
Tomoya and others graduate before Nagisa does, and Tomoya starts to work at Nagisas parents bakery.
After getting job from electricity company, Tomoya moves to his own apartment, where Nagisa visits everyday.
Tomoyas father gets caught for selling drugs, or as they say "dangerous stuff" and Tomoya loses an opportunity to get Better job, Tomoya punches a wall out of rage, but Nagisa comforts him, and they decide they will get married.
After playing THOUSANDS Rounds of baseball with Nagisas father and graduation of Nagisa, they finaly get accepted and marry.
Nagisa becomes pregnant soon after, but she falls ill again.
Tomoya starts to worry that he might lose his wife and unborn child.
Winter comes and Nagisa starts to give birth, she gives birth to healthy daughter.
But Nagisa dies soon after she gives birth.
Tomoya falls to depression, he cannot take care of his daughter,
Soon Nagisas mother Sanae invites him on a trip, but there was a scheme.
When Tomoya arrives to his late wife's parents home, he realises that they have left him with his daughter Ushio.
Ushio and Tomoya go on a trip, where Tomoya meets his grandmother, who tells him about his father and how they have walked same kind of road.
Tomoya realises that he has to protect his daughter and live on.
Ushio falls ill just like her mother..
Ushio is dying too, but then Tomoya wakes up in situation where Nagisa is giving birth.
She gives birth to healthy Daughter, but this time she does not die.
so that leaves me on questions:
Does Tomoya worry too much?
Was Nagisas death scenario only Tomoyas "dream"?
Did they live happily ever after?
and do i have to cry for rest of the year?

and I think that it will take time for new anime to come, which will touch its watchers just like clannad did.
it was very hard to watch once in a while, there were many hard parts that made me feel uncomfortable.
But soon after uncomfortable happenings, you'll get happy ending after all.
I'll have to give this anime full 10 points.
It would be too rude to give it less..
My favourite things in this series:
- It'll make you feel many kinds of emotions, this is not an easy series. but at least it had happy ending.
- It takes its watcher seriously. it does not threat you like your stupid. it makes you think about the plot and characters actions.
- AWESOME SOUNDTRACK! i listen soundtrack music alot. and i'll have to get every song of this series.
i am learning to play Dango daikazoku on piano too.
- Very huge collection of characters. Every character is diferent! you'll feel something for everyone,
I personally liked Nagisa, Kotomi, Tomoyo and Fuuko most.
My favourite Scenes in this series:
- FUUKO APPEARS! they were cute scenes, Fuuko just appears out of nowhere to use her starfish
technique. wich doesnt help any situation at all. but she sure feels proud even trying to help her friends!
- Kotomis violin concert. Sure, she does not know how to play a violin... but she enjoys it! so i'll be more than happy to listen to her music.. if i can use earplugs tough...
- Kotomi in library, shes just sucked in to the books, she does not realise whats happening around her, unless you say "Kotomi-Chan".
- Tomoyo kicks ass. Always. just always, she will lay 100hit combo on you if you do something wrong.
- Tomoyo Is my waifu! Tomoyo wakes Tomoya up everymorning during final episodes of clannad and makes him breakfast. that was very sweet of her, and Tomoyo became one of my favourite characters in the show.
- They all lose to Nagisa. when they all try to help Tomoyo to become member of school counsil, Nagisa fell ill, and Tomoya helped him. That is when all the girls who were in love with Tomoya, realised that Tomoya has fallen for Nagisa. it was very touching moment.
Those are my toughts on Clannad, I'd like to hear your opinions too!
